THE KAPPA LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE - CHICAGO IS KNOWN FOR PRODUCING THE LARGEST NUMBER OF MINORITY MALES STUDENTS IN THE CITY OF CHICAGO NAMED AS NATIONAL MERIT SEMI-FINALIST AND OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS, EVERY SENIOR HAS GAINED ADMISSION TO A "TIER 1" FOUR YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY.
The Kappa Leadership institute - Chicago is currently ranked as one of the best programs nationally amongst 344 other Kappa Leadership Institutes in the nation.
Our results tell the true story of how successful our students are:
100% of our seniors since 2005 have graduated and were admitted into the "tier 1" college/university of their first choice
96% of our students rank in the top 15% of their high school class
83 % of our seniors scored a 28 or higher on the ACT Exam. (12 points higher than the national average for African American students and 7 points higher than the national average for all students.) www.act.org/activity/autumn2007/national.html
82% of our students made honor roll with a GPA of 3.431 or higher on a 4.0 scale
56% of our seniors received "Full tuition" scholarships to college
98% of our students are leaders and "student athletes" at their high school
